Miley celebrates her engagement with chocolate pancakes* and her best mates

If you'd just got engaged to a beautiful actor type with a magnificent face, you'd want to go and celebrate with your mates. OBVIOUSLY you'd want to celebrate with your mates.

You'd want quite a bit of champagne, and then you'd want - we'd say - some massive boozy cocktails. A martini, perhaps. Or a White Russian.

But when you're Miley Cyrus, and your engagement has happened before you turn 20, and you live in America where you can't drink then, things are trickier.

Though maybe her skin is just glowing with joy over her ring

 

WHY ARE YOU HIDING THE RING, MILEY, WHY?

Unless it's gone for a little resize

Or she really does just want to carry her coat that way

How might one celebrate then, you may ask?

Well one might round one's best mates up and go to a place that sells chocolate pancakes, that's what one might do.

Miley headed out last night to Hugos in LA, looking happy and gorgeous in shorts and a jumper with her best mates. She also k ept her ring finger covered up, which is weird as we've all seen the ring, Miley. It's here...

Thank god for that, here it is

 

Now we've looked at the menu and we have found that you can have a chocolate pancake there, but you can also have a salad - Miley may well have had a salad.

There was no sign of Liam, and the night looked like an all girls' do, not dissimilar to a hen do.

WAIT ONE SECOND, was this a hen do?

Miley and Liam announced that they had got engaged yesterday, and then Liam posted some pictures of the ring on Twitter. Since then, 3am have spent a large portion of the day wailing that we want said vintage ring on our wedding finger, and having a bit of a sulk.
