Rihanna's concerned dad tells his hard-partying daughter to 'go easy'

Hard-partying Rihanna’s worried father has warned his daughter to “chill out and take things easy” as fears grow over her health.

The RB singer pulled out of a visit to the UK to film a TV show last week after her managers said she was too sick to travel.

It came weeks after Rihanna, 24, published a picture of herself on Twitter hooked up to a drip in a New York hospital.

Reports then emerged of the the Shut Up and Drive star’s antics, with one saying she had been on a string of 61 booze-fuelled nights out that left her “burnt out”.

Her dad ­Ronald Fenty, 58, revealed yesterday he’d flown from ­Barbados to the US to dish out some fatherly advice.

“When I saw the ­pictures on Twitter I was worried like everyone else,” Ronald said. “But the truth is she was suffering from flu and exhaustion.

“She’d also lost a pound or two in weight and just wasn’t feeling well.

“Even so, I sat her down and said she needed to take things easy. I told her it was important to chill out a bit, look after herself and not take too much on for a while.”

And the superstar seems to have listened. She pulled out of filming a TV show in London, insisting she’d delayed the trip to “spend more time with her ­family”. Rihanna said claims she had been unwell were nonsense.

Next week she’s expected to take a holiday to Barbados.

Ronald added: “That is just what she needs. Robyn (Her real name) is a smart, tough girl and is fine now. She has a good team around her and friends and family who will make sure she is OK.”
