Miley Cyrus has had a right old rant on her Twitter page after her fans were shocked to see her frolicking in the pool with someone who definitely isn’t Liam Hemsworth.

The actress, who happily announced her engagement to long-term boyfriend Liam last week, was snapped hanging out with a bearded fellow during a trip to Miami yesterday.

With Liam off filming in New Orleans, Miley and her hairy assistant Cheyne Thomas decided to spend the afternoon in the hotel pool, where they were snapped chatting away and playing in the water.

In a slinky silver bikini, the effects of Miley’s 17 Pilates classes a day are easy to see, with her tummy all tight and her pert bottom being a dream to stare at open mouthed.

And despite simply being good pals with Cheyne, Miley faced criticism from her Twitter followers after these sexy snaps emerged.

With people accusing Miley, 19, of dishonouring her engagement to Liam, 22, the star took to her account to straighten a few things out.

She wrote online: ‘So now because I am engaged I can't have a friend of the opposite sex? can't have a friend help me out while I'm working alllll day? #dumb ’

Although we’re very happy for Miley to have plenty of male friends, we’re not sure about this ‘working all day’ malarkey. Perhaps she means ‘working out all day’.

Miley is currently staying at South Beach in Miami while Liam films in New Orleans

 

She added: ‘Maybe YOU would have friends too if you'd get your face out the tabloids start living your own life :) unfortunate’

The tabloids? We feel like we’ve just been told off by Miley. We quite liked it.
