Brad Pitt has opened up about his upcoming wedding to Angelina Jolie during an interview at Cannes, where he is pushing his new film.
The actor has been swanning about in France to promote Killing Them Softly, his new âpolitical gangster crime thrillerâ which is a thrilling film about gangsters and political crimes.
And when asked about his marriage plans during the press conference this afternoon, Brad said: âWe actually, really and truly, have no date.
âItâs just something that makes sense to us, and certainly date-wise, it's just a rumour.â
Brad, 48, and Angelina, 36, took so long to get engaged because they wanted to wait until all couples â" gay or straight â" had been given the legal right to get married in the US.
But after being together for seven years and bringing up six children together, Brad decided to pop the question to Angelina with a ring heâd spent months designing earlier this year.Â
However, Brad said this afternoon that the couple are still waiting for marriage equality across the States before they walk down the aisle.
He said today: âWe're still hoping that we can figure out marriage equality in the states before that date.â
We could be waiting a tad longer for the Hollywood wedding of the century then. We have no choice but to kill time by wondering if it'll look exactly like this mock up of their special day.
