Rihanna woke up drunk at the weekend and can’t remember getting home. Anyone sympathise?

We do love it when Rihanna hits the town, especially when it’s London town. She certainly did give the city a Barbadian shaped bashing too and it gave her one back by the sounds of it.

“U know life is great when u wake up at 9 am DRUNK!!!!! #London,” she Tweeted on Sunday morning.

She was obviously laying in bed having one of those, ‘WTF did I do last night’ moments and then posted: “You know it was a good night when u wake up n run to your BFF's room like... How did I get in my bed? Did I walk? Stumble? Get carried?”

Thankfully there’s rather a lot of pictorial evidence of what she got up to for us and her to stare at.

She went to see Jay Z and Kanye West at the 02 and then hit Dstrkt restaurant in Soho for a private celeb packed party*, where she kissed Rita Ora’s face, pulled her friend’s hair as they tried to get through a press scrum and er, rubbed shoulders with footballer Didier Drogba. We don’t know if she kissed his face.

It was such a good night though that it seems she couldn’t get out of bed the next day and missed her flight. Oopsie.

“So ummm.... I'm supposed to be on a plane rt now! #r,” she Tweeted. Looks like Jay Z came to the rescue of his protégé though.

“JayZ saved me!!!!! I got an extra day off sorry @HiHatprod,” she Tweeted immediately after. Yeah, you wouldn’t really mess with Da Man if he said Rihanna was allowed a duvet day.

Unfortunately it looks like we’ll have to make the most of these pictures, because Rihanna’s hanging up her beer goggles for a bit.

“You will be very disappointed to know last night was my final hurrah til my vacation! I ain't about this life,” she told fans.

With any luck that was just the alcohol guilts talking though and to be honest we don’t have much faith in her sobriety as she’s since Tweeted: “Interesting night! Sober and tired and bored.”

We give her until the next weekend.

In the meantime, let's see who HAS been out at last night's Billboard Awards. Clue: one of them didn't bother wearing a top.

* Update: We've been sent the menu of what Rihanna, Gwyneth Paltrow and Kim Kardashian were served up. As well as yummy stuff like dry aged rib eye steak, cookies and cupcakes, they had "soy air". Finally proof of how celebs stay so trim.
