“I'll have the worst, spoiled little kid ever”: Jay Z opens up about fatherhood

Jay Z has been doing a bit of chatting about being a dad for the first time on the telly, with the rapper admitting that Blue Ivy has the potential to be “the worst, spoiled little kid ever.”

In an interview with Oprah Winfrey â€" which airs in the States on Sunday â€" Jay Z opened up about life with four month old Blue and how he feels about himself as a dad.

The 42 year old said: “Well, I mean, everyone imagines they'll be a great dad.

“Until they're teenagers saying, ‘Get away from me, Dad. You're embarrassing me!’

“Right? Everyone imagines that, right?”

Right. But surely not when they’re genuinely the coolest man in the world?

Jay Z also spoke to the host about how he plans to bring Blue up â€" with a mixture of skills he picked up from his family.

He said: “I imagine I'll take things I learned from my mom and things I've learned from raising my nephews and apply that.

He added: “Then at the end of the day, I just know I'll probably have the worst, spoiled little kid ever.”

Well, at least he’s realistic. Let’s be honest, it’s a strong possibility.
