Former late-night TV host Amanda de Cadenet gets a Word in with the Hollywood A-list

THE stars came out in force to support Amanda de Cadenet’s new US series, The Conversation â€" or at least Hollywood’s ladies did.

The New York bash at the weekend marked a real change for the British presenter, 39, who made her name on controversial TV show The Word in the 1990s.

The show, produced by Demi Moore, sees De Cadenet talking to a variety of celebrity women about personal subjects close to them.

Gwyneth Paltrow recently admitted to De Cadenet that she suffered with depression after the loss of her father, while Lady Gaga talked to her about her past drug use.

Lady Gaga, Eva Longoria and Jane Fonda are other stars to open up on topics from drugs to sex toys.
