We've only just recovered from Kristen Stewart's epic style fail at the Met Ball on Monday - she's normally so dependable with her edgy yet chic fashion sense - yet here she is, upsetting us all over again... in a cap.

But not just any cap, a weird, stained one that makes us wonder whether we knew Kristen AT ALL.

Kristen didn't look too happy as she left her Soho hotel in NYC...

...but when does she ever look happy, we suppose

 

Kristen gains a few brownie points from the fact that it's actually her boyfriend's cap - R-Pattz was snapped wearing it in Toronto last September - but it's clearly undergone some sort of trauma since then.

The old thing - with the logo of baseball team Baltimore Orioles - is covered in white stains as if it's been used to mop up a milk puddle, yet Kristen's totally cool with tucking her long, gorgeous locks into it.
